The Golden Parables Of Wisdom
Part I
Jesus said, “I Am The Light Of The World.”
Now, the light shines abundantly,
even for the blind to see.
About Seeking For The Truth
No one
ever finds the truth by shying away from it.
If your
religion is more important to you than the truth,
then you are a hypocrite.
Be
open-minded, and yet, careful.
Chapter 1
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRUTH AND RELIGIONS
Parable Of The Unfaithful Messenger
From a far away city, a man sent
a bag of goods to his house through a messenger. The bag contained precious
pearls of various kinds, a great wealth. But while on the way, the Devil
entered the messenger’s heart and made him steal the precious wealth and
replace them with fake ones.
When he arrived in the man’s
home, he delivered the fake wealth to the man’s family. The family members
rejoiced and praised God, and even went for thanksgiving in their church. They
did not know that the goods delivered to them were fake.
One day, the man returned
home and asked about the bag he had earlier sent home. When the bag was brought
out and the contents poured out for examination, the man was disappointed to
know that his precious wealth had been replaced with fake ones. It was then that
the family members realized what the unfaithful messenger had done. And there
was great disappointment and regret.
So are the religions of today.
Let nobody boast again of his church, for most of the beliefs, teachings and
practices are man-made doctrines in place of God’s commandments, which
doctrines are the figments of imaginations, the fabrications of falsehood and
the deceptions of the enemy. That is why I say everybody and every reverend
minister must start again from the beginning to learn about God and life.
·
How can many claim to be spiritual directors when
they know neither the way nor the destination?
·
How can ministers of God claim to be good teachers
after they refused to be students of Spiritual Science?
·
How can the reverend claim to be teaching the truth
about God when they are ignorant of the spiritual side of life?
·
How can people claim their church to be the best,
when they are busy practicing the deceptions of the enemy?
·
How can the world claim to have reached the
destination when they have not yet started the journey?
Jesus said it, clearly, “So
likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say,
'We are unprofitable servants. We have done (only) what was other duty to do.'
" Luke 17:10 Now, I tell you the truth, you have not done any of the
things you were commanded to do. Besides, you have been working against God,
who is the Master of the universe. This is terrible and unbelievable. Yet, it
is true.
Here is the truth about
Christianity: Many changes have been made in the Christian religion before,
during and after the religion was spread to the world.
Several portions of the Bible were changed, and very important, juicy and
powerful books removed, before the Bible was made available to the public. In
the missing books of the Bible, you shall discover that God made things easy
for His children. But, the anti-Christ has corrupted the system of worship,
misleading the ignorant majority into the hell fire.
Today, many churches are practising man-made doctrines, in place of God's
commandments, even without knowing it.
And many of the churches that claim to be the best, are indeed among the worst.
Divine love,
Parable Of The Glorious Messengers
There was a nation of several tribes. Out of ignorance and selfishness, they
often quarreled among themselves. The gods decided to help them out. Therefore,
they selected a messenger for every tribe, from the midst of the wise ones. All
the messengers were given the same message and doctrines for their respective
tribes. The messengers went, delivered their messages and returned. Still the
tribes quarreled among themselves. All because each thinks it is the best
tribe, and no tribe was wise and humble enough to discover that all the tribes
have one God and the same religion. So it is with the different religions of
the world. Even so, Today!
Parable Of Point And Details
Then said the LORD, Thou
hast had pity on the gourd,
for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow;
which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city,
wherein are more then six score thousand persons
that cannot discern between their right hand
and their left hand; and also much cattle?
Jonah 4:10-11
A man had one son. But because of domestic duties he had to bring in a house
boy, who was the son of his friend. The man loved two boys and treated them
alike. He made sure that they had good education. He would not allow anything
to interfere with their studies. They studied hard from day to day.
On the closing date, the two
boys received their results. It happened that the two failed. The house boy
traveled direct from school to his father’s house after the closing, because
his father demanded so.
He was very sad when he got
home. When he showed the result to his father, the father became very angry and
mercilessly flogged the boy, and starved the boy for one full day.
The other boy was equally very
sad. Hesitantly, slowly, he approached the gate. When his father read the
result, he was full of consideration. Realizing how hard the two boys had
laboured, he smiled and hugged his son. “Do not worry,” he said to his son.
“One day, you shall succeed.”
“It is not yet late,” he
added. Then he asked his servants to give the son enough food and drink. The
son ate and drank, and was relieved and refreshed.
Interpretation: This parable shows how
people react differently to the same situation. Often, we have a point, upon
which we base our decisions. This approach makes us inconsiderate. But the
person who has details is both wiser and considerate.
Parable Of The Two Blind Men
Let them alone: they be blind
leaders of the blind.
And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Matthew 15:14
What is more?
Whoever that follows a blind man, makes himself a blind fellow.
…Raphael Nweze
One day, a blind man led
another blind man along the way. It was a path each used to take alone before.
However, they did not know that changes have been made on the road due to
development. They stumbled here and there. Therefore, the second blind man
opted to lead the way, to which the first conceded. Yet, they stumbled here and
there, until a fellow who observed their predicament offered to help them out.
The fellow not only restored their sight, but explained the changes along the path.
The two blind men were happy and got to their destination.
Interpretation: The blind men refer to the
churches of today. Many are ignorant of spiritual realities of life. They do
not the God they claim to worship. Yet, each insists that it is the best church
and wants to lead the other churches.
Also, the two blind men
represent the people of this generation. Their blindness refers to spiritual
blindness (ignorance of spiritual realities). The way in which they were
walking represents life. The fellow who offered to help them means Jesus
Christ, the Savior of mankind. Their destination means Heaven as well as Truth.
Restoration means spiritual re-birth, this included knowledge of the truth.
The blindness also refers to
false knowledge: those things people claim to know whereas we do not actually
know them, and those things often misinterpreted. This false knowledge keeps on
failing us; that is why we blunder and fail often in life.
For example, on the eve of
every New Year, we see persons or families burning old and worn-out tires. They
claim to burn the evils of the last Year. Now, let us see it in a better
perspective: Who told them that tyre is used to cast and bound evil spirits? Is
tyre used for sacrifice or burnt offering? If at all tyre is used, who told
them that old and worn-out materials are acceptable for offering?
Parable Of Intoxication
The kingdom of heaven is like children whom their teacher gave a health drink.
Each took a cup, became intoxicated and staggered, and the teacher said. “Why
are you intoxicated? I expected each of you to drink an ocean and remain
quiet!”
Parable Of An Honest And
Wealthy Man
(The Parable Of Victorious
Truth)
Truth is like an honest and wealthy man who went to battle with all his wealth.
His enemies devised all forms of devastation and cruelty against him. But as
the man with his wealth draw near them, all the enemies and their plans and
weapons phased out, - they were not found again. And the wealthy man went his
way with his precious wealth.
Parable Of The Smallest Tree
A tree stood alone in a field. It was the only tree. Each time people passed by
the tree, they would say, “This tree is very tall.” One day, a farmer brought
the seeds of other plants from several places, and sowed them in the same
field. The seeds germinated, grew and became great trees.
After many years, people
passed by and saw the former tree in the midst of the new trees, and they would
often say about the former tree, “So, this tree is very small. Before, we
thought it was the tallest tree in the world. Now, we know that it is the
smallest tree.”
Comment: Spiritually, many churches are stagnant. The worth of a church
is never measured by its size, magnificence or population. The worth is
determined by its holiness and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The worst thing that can happen to a person
is to have an ignorant reverend as a leader.
Parable Of The Lead Vehicles
Consider the parable of the
lead vehicles. Vehicles following a fast car move fast, while those cars that
follow a slow truck encounter delays. So it is with following the reverend
ministers of God. Spiritually enlightened ministers speed up your spiritual
growth, while those ministers who are not spiritually enlightened hinder your
spiritual progress. Remaining with a religious leader who is not spiritual or
progressive will keep you stagnant, and even make you retrogressive. Jesus
warned against this handicap, saying, “23 When they persecute you in this
city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone
through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” Matthew 10:23
And I add, “Be wise enough to know when a church has strayed from the truth.
Then leave it and join another church.”
Parable Of Seven Ladders
A prophet was on a long journey. When he got tired, he went to the foot of a
tree to rest. After a while, he saw a vision. He saw an old man that was not
old. He was old, but his body and appearance were like those of a young man. He
was wearing a white flowing garment. His hairs were white, and his long bears
were also white.
Next, the prophet saw a staircase of seven ladders that reached from the ground
to the sky. Each ladder was inclined in a different direction. Still all the
ladders lead upwards to the sky. White doves were on the ladders, on the rungs
and on the poles. Every rung had a white rope at each of its end. Each rope
extended upwards into the sky.
As the prophet was wandering at what he saw, an inquisitive child passed by. On
seeing the staircase, the child suddenly stopped. He looked around in surprise.
Then he went back to the old man, and asked, "What does this mean?" The
old man did not answer him, because the man was by now dozing. Therefore, the
boy pulled on his garment and woke him up.
“What does this staircase
mean?" the boy inquired again.
"It is the everlasting path to the kingdom," the man
replied.
"Why seven ladders, instead of just one ladder?" the boy
asked.
"Each ladder represents a different experience in the homeward
journey."
"What of the rungs?" continued the inquirer.
"Every rung represents a church."
"The white doves, what are they?"
"They are Angels, who
have been waiting to lead the children of God home. They are dozing because
they have been waiting in vain, for a long time."
"White ropes?"
asked the child.
"Every pilgrim can go
back using the staircase or move straight into the kingdom by the rope."
"Then, why are there no pilgrims on the ladder?'
The old man pointed down a
valley, and said, "The pilgrims do not want to come up. They are busy
doing whatever they like in the name of religion."
"Then send somebody to
call them," the boy suggested.
“We have already sent so many messengers, but the people would not
listen."
"Then myself will go
and call them. But first, I have to go up the ladder to confirm what you have
just told me."
"Very good,"
answered the man.
Then boy went to the foot of
the staircase and started to climb the ladder, one after another. After seven
days, he reached the top and went into the sky. Afterwards, he appeared at the
top of one the rope. He started to climb down. While he was coming down, he was
changing from being a child into a grown up boy, then a young man. By the time
he reached the ground, he was exactly like the old man that was not old. It
took him seven minutes to get down. He went to the first old man, and the two
were like identical twins.
"You said the
truth," he told the first old man. Finally, he went towards the prophet,
and the prophet woke up from his trance.
"It is the child that
is the prophet," said a voice. "Let him who has ear, hear what the
Spirit says to the churches."
Parable Of The Seven
Disappointment
In summary, the seven
disappointments (below) are the seven parables that show the position of the
churches, religions and believers in the presence of God in Heaven. Most of the
churches, their teachings and practices are like:
1. Pouring sand into a basin
of delicious food.
2. Very important teachings
which have been turned upside down.
3. A multitude that moved
from light into darkness, and do not know again how to come out of the
darkness.
4. Ripe fruits that are
beautiful to the eyes, but bitter and stinging to taste.
5. Traders who took fake
products to the market to sell. At the market, they found the original
products, but would not throw away the fake products and buy the good ones.
6. Pupils, who are still
learning ABC, when they suppose to have become university professors.
7. An ignorant teacher, who
is busy feeding children with falsehood.
You should become disturbed,
because your everlasting fate (Salvation or Doom), is not something to play
with. Such an important matter should not be carelessly entrusted into the
hands of ignorant leaders. Visit this website, www.divinebase.com, for
narrations, descriptions, messages, corrections and teachings for the world.

Parable Of The Foolish Students
The kingdom of heaven is like the foolish students who go to school to learn.
Everyday, they would go to school, but would not enter the classroom. They
prefer to stay inside the school compound playing games and whiling away their
time. However well the teacher persuades them to come into the classroom, they
reply, "Our parents only told us to go to school. They did not tell us to
enter the classroom and study."
Interpretation: Majority of the world do
not want to learn from people who know. They want to go to heaven, but do not
want to spend their time reading and studying about the heavens. They claim to know
and worship God, whereas they do not know God and do not have time for God.
Parable Of The Foolish Worshippers
Where Have You Seen God?
I have seen God in several places and in different manifestations: in spirit,
in visions, in trances and in dreams; in the houses, on the roads and at the
offices; on the mountains and in the valleys; in the air and on the sky; inside
churches; on earth and in the heavens. Both in spirit and physically.
Every body must by-pass his
religion to seek and know the truth. Only then can you begin the spiritual
journey that will lead you into the presence of God. For the time being, the
churches and religions are like the parable of foolish worshippers, who embrace
the trees on the way, and say ‘This is my house,’ instead of moving
along the road to get to their home destination.
Indeed, one factor that has prevented people from finding God is their various
religions. They cling to their religions, and remain standstill, instead of
using their religions as the springboard to the Truth.
Parable Of The Ten Foolish Men
The kingdom of heaven is
like ten foolish men in search of treasure.
They found unrefined gold
and said, “This is ugly. It must be useless.”
So, they threw it away.
Next, they found silver and said, “What is this? It must be slippery.” And,
they cast it into the gutters.
When they found a refuse
dump of empty cartons and packets, they said, “Here are beautiful packets and
cartons. They must be very precious.” Therefore, they made great loads of the
containers,
and each carried his own load on his head.
At home, they settled down
to celebrate with great joy.
Comment: Is it not surprising that
we leave the Gold in pursuit of frivolities.
Indeed, God is like a
university,
only those who learn from
different good lecturers
become the best students.
Parable Of The Kingpins
In a certain world, there were so many religions and churches. Each claimed to
be the best. One day, a wise man became the emperor. He selected all the religious
leaders and sent them to the land of the spirits. He told them to go and see
God face to face. They were one hundred heads of diverse religions and
churches.
The first group to return was seventy-five people. They came back, crying and hiding
their faces. So the king interviewed them.
“Why are you crying?” He
asked.
“We are crying because we
could not find the gate of heaven,” they replied.
“Then,” said the king, “why
do you hide your face?”
“We hide our faces because
we now know that we have been deceiving people.”
“You suppose to die! All of you!” said the king. “But, because of
the mercy of the Most High, I allow you to live. Go and learn the truth.”
After seven days, fifteen
others returned. Their dresses were torn and worn out. They were like wretched
men, each frightened to the marrow.
“What report do you bring?”
asked the king, anxiously.
“We are like dead men,” they
replied. “We found the gate of heaven. The gate was quite open. But, when we wanted
to enter, Angels pounced on us, kicking and flogging us. They flogged us out
from the gate.” They concluded, weeping and sobbing.
“Your God have mercy on
you,” responded the king. “I would have killed all of you. But, I allow you to
live. Go and learn the Truth."
After another seven days,
the last ten people returned. Their faces shone like white light. They had left
in different types of religious attires, each made of different colors. But
when they came back, all the ten were wearing white flowing garments.
“Yes, tell me your report,”
demanded the king. “What happened?”
“We found the gate of
heaven,” one of them answered. “When we entered it, we met the two Angels. They
were tall and huge; each was wearing a white flowing garment.” The king was
listening with rapt attention.
“The two Angels took us to
the nursery school in Heaven. First, they gave us bath and changed our dresses
to yellow garments. Second, they gave us holy foods to eat and holy wines to
drink. Afterwards, they taught us for seven days. At the end, they gave us the
white garments we are wearing, and told us to go back and correct all the
errors in our world”.
“Very good,” answered the
king. “Well done.” He beamed forth with smile.
“I set you over my world,”
the king ordered, “over governments and dominions, over ministries and
departments, and over agencies and nations, to teach, to correct and to show
example.”
“Let your God be with you,” he concluded.
Parable Of Sunrise And Sunset
The kingdom of the Heaven is like the experience of the sun. The ignorant
people say that the sun rises in the east in the morning, and sets in the west
in the evening. Yet, the enlightened ones know that the sun neither rises nor
sets, but is always present and shining.
Interpretation: when the Israelites asked Jesus about the coming
kingdom, Jesus corrected them by saying that the kingdom is already in their
midst and in their heart. Man has only to discover himself and enter the
kingdom, which is always present and open. “I have set before thee an open
door which no one is able to shut,” says Jesus.
Parable Of A Disappointed Farmer
A farmer went to his farm to harvest. He was full of expectation. But when he
got to the farm, he was very much disappointed. Behold, many of the crops did
not germinate. Among those that germinated, many did not grow. Among those that
grew, many did not mature. Among those that are mature, many did not bear
flower. Among those that flowered, many did not bear fruits. Among those that
bore fruits, many of the fruits did not ripe. He got only a few ripe fruits.
Patiently, he waited several years. And when he came back, there was no
improvement.
Interpretation: Religions and churches suppose to make people grow in
spirit and in truth. Instead of doing this, they keep people stagnant by first
making them ordinary members.
Parable Of The Travelers
The kingdom of heaven is
like the parable of the travelers, who went on a very long journey. On the
road, many were standing still, each facing in whichever direction he thinks is
the best. Many moved in the wrong directions, while few moved in the right
direction. Some were backing the destination, moving further away from it. Some
were on the road, facing and moving into the bushes, while others were
scattered inside the bush, looking for the road. Only very few reached the gate
and were just about to enter in. Blessed indeed is he who has reached the gate
and is ready to enter in. Whoever has no time for selfless service, for rest,
for quiet times and for meditation has not reached the gate.
Parable Of The Foolish Birds
The foolish birds made each a tiny nest for itself. Then it moved into the
small space, and refused to come out. Each deceived itself saying, “My nest is
the best and biggest space.” So, it happened that each bird failed to explore
the vast universe and the treasures therein.
Interpretation: Truth is like the sun and its sunlight. The light is able
to enter into every opening, but there is no space to contain the sun itself.
So it is with the person who knows the Truth. His teachings reach the ends of
the earth, entering every nook and cranny, but none can hold the Truth in his
tiny space or religion.
Whoever is ready to know the
Truth, must be ready to verify his beliefs and practices, and do not allow them
to hold him back from finding and knowing the Truth. The churches are like the
shadows of the branches of a giant tree. They are not the tree, but its shadows
in different forms. Only those who see beyond the shadows to identify and know
the tree in its entirety become masters of the universe. They become one with
the Truth, and none can intimidate them.
Parable Of The Self-Closing Doors
Many churches and ministers of God are like the parable of a prison with one
self-closing door. Immediately you enter the prison, the door closes itself and
refuses to open again.
Interpretation: Many churches and ministers of God do not know the truth
about God and life. Yet, they are everyday canvassing for members.
·
When you become their member, they will not allow
you go to the places where you can learn the Truth.
·
If you leave them, they tell other members of their
church that you have fallen away (dropped out).
·
If you attend another church while being their
member, they become angry and jealous, and may even threaten you.
Parable Of The Different Vessels
Some pilgrims were arguing about God, when a wise man passed by. On hearing
their arguments, the wise man turned and asked them to follow him to a
warehouse. When they got to the warehouse, he conducted them round to see the
vessels inside the storehouse. At the first set of vessels, he asked them, “What
is inside these vessels?”
“Salt,” they answered.
At the second set of
vessels, he asked them, “What is inside these vessels?”
“Oil,” they responded in unison.
At the third set of vessels,
he asked them, “What is inside these vessels?”
“Sand,” was their reply.
At the end of the
inspection, he asked them, “What are your findings?”
“Plenty salt,” answered one of them.
“So much oil,” said another.
“Even sand,” said the third.
“You have answered very well,” concluded the wise
man at the end of their replies. “However, you have missed the most important
point,” he added.
“What is it?” they wanted to know.
“What is lacking in one vessel,” said the wise man,
“is abundant in another vessel.”
“Y-e-s-o-o-h!” they shouted.
The parable explains why there are differences in
religious and spiritual explanations.
Chapter 2
IN SEARCH OF THE TRUTH
Be open-minded.
Yet, be careful
Parable Of Two Students
Read So Many Sacred Texts.
Sacred Texts are books written
with inspiration of the Holy Spirit, books written as revelations from God. And
I tell you the Truth, to read one Sacred Text (holy book) is not enough for a
person to know the Whole Truth. Consider the parable of two students. It is
like two students who went to the university to study. The first learns from
one course only. The second spent years learning from all courses. The first
remains a student, because he knows very little. He can never claim to have
comprehensive knowledge of the Truth, because he studied one course only, out
of numerous courses. The second becomes a master, because he knows all.
Therefore, a wise student is advised to read wide. The author of this book, who
has read many Sacred Texts of different world religions and who has also seen
the God Almighty, face to face, bears witness that it is the same God Almighty,
who inspired all the scriptures (Sacred Texts) of different world religions.
Parable Of The Richest Man
A man built a restaurant for travelers. And so it
happened that when a traveler came passing, the man’s family would encourage
him to stay for a while. While the traveler stayed for rest, they would
friendly ask him questions.
The first traveler came, and
the following conversation took place.
The Man: Where are you going to this
night?
The Prophet: I am going to the north to prophesy.
The Man: It is good that you are going to the north. But, first prophesy
for us here.
The Prophet: I prophesy success and prosperity for your family.
The second traveler came, and
the following conversation took place.
The Man: Where are you going to this night?
The Visioner: I am going to the south to reveal what is hidden.
The Man: It is good that you are going to the south. But first, reveal
what is here hidden.
The Visioner: This place where you have your restaurant is the shrine of
an idol. You must call for spiritual work to destroy its power. Otherwise, it
shall make your efforts useless and your life shall become wasted years.
The third traveler came, and
the following conversation took place.
The Man: Where are you going to this night?
The Spiritualist: I am going to the west to perform deliverance.
The Man: It is good that you are going to the west. But first, deliver
us from the shrine that is here unseen.
The Spiritualist: By the blood of Jesus, I deliver you from the shrine,
and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I destroy it with the consuming fire.
The fourth traveler came, and
the following conversation took place.
The Man: Where are you going to this night?
The Reverend Father: I am going to the east to give Holy Communion.
The Man: It is good that you are going to the east. But first, give us
here the Holy Communion.
The Reverend Father: Now, receive the body and blood of Jesus.
The sixth traveler came, and
the following conversation took place.
The Man: Where are you going to this night?
The Pastor: I am going here and there to prosper people.
The Man: It is good that you are going here and there. But first, prosper
us here.
The Pastor: In the name of God, become prosperous.
The seventh traveler came, and
the following conversation took place.
The Man: Where are you going to this night?
The Mystic: I am moving about teaching people how to find and experience
God.
The Man: It is good that you are moving about. But first, teach us here
how to find and experience God.
The Mystic: Observe quiet times and meditate on God and life.
And so it happened that the
man became the richest man, while his fellow villagers spend their precious
time arguing, unnecessarily, on which religion is the best.
Jesus made it clear, saying,
“Whenever you meet any good minister of God, do your best to collect all the
blessings in his hands and put them in your bag.” And I add, “Do not
spend your precious time arguing which religion is better, for many teachings
of God have been turned upside down without the public knowing it. Instead,
seek the truth, which sets free. It is only the truth that leads to everlasting
life.”
The disciples lived and
worked with Him as Jesus, Emmanuel –“God with us”. The reality of walking with
God is not the privilege of a few. Any person can walk with God, from time to
time. The message may be through dream, vision, oracle, sign, etc. Usually,
such message are clear and convincing. If they are in parable, the receiver can
ask for the interpretation, which God would readily give. It is even possible
to know the details of everyday event, in advance. God does not leave his
people in darkness.
A person can pray to God and
obtain revelation about the past, present and future. This is a fact. It is
natural. It is in line with “the law of demand and supply”. Daniel prayed, and
was given the message and meaning of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.
16 So Daniel went in and
asked the king to give him time, that he might tell the king the
interpretation. 17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known
to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, 18 that they might seek
mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his
companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 Then
the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God
of heaven.
20 Daniel answered and said:
"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
21 And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
22 He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.
23 "I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king's demand."
Daniel 2:16-23
The life of those who do not
walk with God is well described in Isaiah 59: 9-11.
9 Therefore justice is far from us,
Nor does righteousness overtake us;
We look for light, but there is darkness!
For brightness, but we walk in blackness!
10 We grope for the wall like the blind,
And we grope as if we had no eyes;
We stumble at noonday as at twilight;
We are as dead men in desolate places.
11 We all growl like bears,
And moan sadly like doves;
We look for justice, but there is none;
For salvation, but it is far from us.
Isaiah 59:9-11
Chapter 3
SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
Parable Of A Pebble And Bird
The kingdom of heaven is like a child who found a pebble. He stepped on the pebble
to know what it is, and the pebble became a bird that carried the child up to
the sky. Then the child became a golden eagle and king of the birds.
Parable Of Butterfly
A group of anxious students wanted their teacher to compare heaven and earth,
so that they can know which one is better.
The teacher said, “Men of the world in their everyday business engagements are
like intoxicated and staggering drunkards chasing uncountable butterflies.”
The students said, “You have told us about the children of the world. Now tell
us about children of God”. ![]()
The teacher replied, “Children of
God are like full grown trees in the midst of an ocean. The butterflies come
and perch and leave not”.
The
students said, “Chasing a butterfly and the butterfly coming by itself are the
same thing”.
“No,” responded the teacher, “Some
butterflies are butterflies, while some butterflies are not butterflies”.
Parable Of Mirror Image
The kingdom of heaven is
like a person who looked into a mirror, only to find his real self inside the
mirror. ![]()
Parable Of The Lost Treasure
The kingdom of heaven is like a foolish man who sold his treasure. When he became
wise, he went back and bought the treasure by paying the price hundred fold.
And when he had recovered it, he became full of exceeding joyfulness and
gladness.
Parable Of The Lonely Seeker
A seeker of truth went in search of God. He went to the mountains, the valleys,
the rivers, the wilderness, the churches and colleges. This he did for many
years, without success. One day, on his way he became weak and faint. Being
weary, he sat down at the foot of a tree to rest in the shadow.
After a while, he fell asleep.
In the sleep, he saw a very high mountain, and an Angel of the Lord was
standing on the mountain. The Angel was so bright that he could not look at the
Angel with the ordinary eyes. Immediately, he saw himself on the mountain top,
kneeling down before the Angel.
Then the Angel disappeared.
And a hand stretched down from the heaven and gave him a book to eat. He ate
the book and woke up. When he came to himself, he said, “So God is here, and I
did not know it!”
Interpretation:
Yourself is the Gate of Heaven. Did it not happen to Jacob? Spend time in
silence and meditation (thinking about God). The Sole Purpose Of Life On Earth
Is To Become Perfect Even As God Is Perfect.
Parable Of The Ignorant Man
Now, consider the above
points in the light of the parable of the ignorant man:
The ignorant man
Walked into the fold
Of his enemies.
And
The enemies
Tied up his hands.
And chained his feet.
Then
They blindfolded him.
And made him dumb.
When they have put the man
In bondage,
They said to him,
“We are your friends.”
Yet, the man did not know
That he is in the enemies’ camp.
It is unfortunate that
humanity choose to be ignorant of the horrible war by evil spirits, demons,
mermaids, ghosts and black energies raging on against humanity. Worse still,
majority are everyday patronizing these enemies of God, and are even proud to
tell you, "It doesn't matter."
Parable Of The Useless Child
Have you heard of the
parable of the useless child? Every year, he goes to his father to ask for
favours, and the father would bestow favours upon favours on him.
Each time he receives
favours, he leaves his father’s house for a distant place, where he wastes the
precious wealth of his father.
The worst of all is that he
refuses to receive advice and does not accept correction. He is worse than the
prodigal son, and majority of humanity are like that. Many are always asking
for one favour or the other, praying for money, wealth and pleasures, without
seeking to find, know and become like the Father. They refuse to learn some
useful skills, neglect to develop their spiritual talents and would not bend
down in serious study of Godliness. They shy away from God by letting others
represent them, by always belittling themselves, by calling themselves sinners
or nonentities. No wise and good father wants any of his children to be a
useless child. Instead, he wants each to become as glorious, as prosperous, and
as secure, as himself. This is the Father’s pleasure and His love for His
children. Spiritual indolence,
Parable Of The Foolish Students
The kingdom of heaven is like the foolish students who went to school to learn.
Everyday, they went to school, but would not enter the classroom. They
preferred to stay inside the school compound playing games and whiling away
their time. When the teacher asked them to come into the classroom, they
replied, "Our parents only told us to go to school. They did not tell us
to enter the classroom and study."
Interpretation:
Majority of the world do not want to learn from people who know. They want to
go to heaven, but do not want to spend their time reading and studying about
the heavens. They claim to know and worship God, whereas they do not know God
and do not have time for God.
Chapter 4
WISDOM
Parable Of The Wise Builder
A wise man first lays a good
foundation before he starts to build a house. He clears the ground; digs the trenches
and lays the foundation blocks. Then, he builds on the solid foundation. The
above parable explains why the necessary corrections are important.
worldliness, Grasshopper,
Parable
Of The Grasshoppers
People are not zealous
enough. Majority do not read about God and life. They are more interested in
earthly wealth and honours. By so doing, they are like the parable of the
grasshoppers, in which pupils that were sent to school to learn, would not stay
in the classroom. They prefer to be in the field hunting for grasshoppers.
Ignorant religious leaders
have led so many into the hell fire simply because people are generally blind
(ignorant) and indolent (lazy). They failed to read about God and life, and
would readily give you uncountable reasons why such books or writings should
not be read, which reasons are unacceptable to the Holy Spirit.
Today, majority of mankind
are repeating the same old silly and costly mistakes of Noah's generations,
just because they failed to read and know about what happened before the Great
Flood. Right from the time of Adam and Eve, Devil has manipulated humanity
because of general ignorance. Indeed, the only advantage and power that the
Devil has over you is your own ignorance. That is also why Satan discourages
people from reading very important, juicy and powerful sacred texts. He
deceives the general public with uncountable reasons on why such books should
not be read. He knows that the moment people know the truth, he can no longer
deceive them into hell fire. Humanity must wake up from sleep and slumber, from
blindness and indolence (ignorance and laziness).
The amount of time and money
spent by the women folk on fashion and make-up is far too much. Many of them
are not ready to buy a spiritual book, CD or video. The result is that everyday
they are busy caring for the perishable corpse (the flesh and body), and
neglect to nourish their spirit, which is their real and everlasting self.
Parable Of Butterfly
A group of anxious students
wanted their teacher to compare heaven and earth, so that they can know which
one is better.
The teacher said, “Men of
the world in their everyday business engagements are like intoxicated and
staggering drunkards chasing uncountable butterflies.”
The students said, “You have
told us about the children of the world. Now tell us about children of God”.
The teacher replied, “Children of
God are like full grown trees in the midst of an ocean. The butterflies come
and perch and leave not”.
The students said, “Chasing
a butterfly and the butterfly coming by itself are the same thing”.
“No,”
responded the teacher, “Some butterflies are butterflies, while some
butterflies are not butterflies”.
Chapter 5
ABOUT GOD
Parable Of Jealousy
The True Meaning Of A ‘Jealous God’
God uses parables and proverbs in explaining the truth about Himself. You find
this parables and proverbs in many portions of the sacred texts. The main
reason why they are used is because they make clear the true knowledge and
understanding of God. They serve as illustrations. Therefore, ‘a jealous God’
means that God demands and deserves exclusive royalty,” total obedience and
unalloyed love and devotion. He who loves or obeys God has taken care of all
things. This is true because God is All-in All. Beside, He cares for all,
provides for all and ensures good things for all
When your eye needs an internal medicine, you do not give the drugs to the eye.
Instead, you give the drugs to the stomach. You do likewise, when any part of your
body needs drug. The stomach knows how to send the drugs to the very part of
the body that needs the drugs. The stomach does so, without fail, without
jealousy and without complaining. So is the relationship between God and
creation. Whatever that goes to God, benefits all, but whatever that goes to a
particular thing becomes lost. God wants exclusive loyalty from us, and He
deserves it.
Often, we say “God first”, meaning that we should first attend to God before
others. It also means that we should first do what God wants, then we can do
what any other person wants. The belief and approach is wrong. When you do what
any other person wants, after doing what God wants, you may have to undo or
against what God wants. For example, on the day of worship, we first go to
worship God. Afterwards, we can go to party and do whatever we like. It is
wrong. Therefore, true catch word is “God only”. This is because God is the
First, the Only and the Last. In whatever we think, say or do, we must make
sure it is what God approved. This is the meaning of being a jealous God. And
God deserves it.
He deserves it because God is
omnipotent omniscience and omnipresent. Besides, He cares for All. Therefore,
we should give Him maximum attention and devotion. Because He knows all things
and cares for all things, we should obey Him first and abide in His ways. He is
in the position to control all.
Imagine a nation under
invasion. Of all the citizens of the country, it is only the president that is
in the position to give commands. This is because he receives information from
the Army, Police, Navy, Air force, State Security Service, Customs,
International Police, organizations and individuals. He knows all and He knows
best.
During the period and process of preventing the invasion, all the citizens
should give him maximum support and unreserved devotion. His success becomes
the success of all and his failure becomes the failure of all.
Now, consider a situation where the president is telling a police officer what
to do, and the police officer ignores him in order to please his girl friend.
Or another situation in which he directs a family to leave their house for the
army, but the family refuses. Then the enemies take possession of the house.
Chapter 6
GODLINESS
Parable Of The Last Seeds
A group of student went to a mystic. They wanted to know how best to sleep at
night. Therefore, the mystic told them a parable. He said, "A man sowed pepper
on his garden. After one day, he came to the garden, removed the pepper and
sowed pumpkin seed. Two days after, he returned, removed the pumpkin seed and
sowed corn." Then he asked the students a question.
“At
the harvest time, what crop is the farmer going to harvest?”
“Corn,” answered all the
students in unison.
“Very good,” replied the
mystic. “You answered well.” Then he began to explain to them the importance of
the last action before bedtime.
“Whatever you do last at
night continues to be fresh in the mind for about twelve hours, and has the
tendency to draw into manifestation similar spiritual experiences. That time is
so much to be wasted on frivolities. The last action supersedes all other
actions in the day. Therefore, you should either pray, meditate or read about
God just before you sleep. By so doing, you set your spirit to welcome the
Angels and prepare yourself to experience bliss, heaven or God. The night is a
time long enough for you to grow in spirit and in truth, undisturbed by
everyday activities.”
“Is that clear?” he asked
them.
“Yes,” they responded.
“Therefore,” he concluded.
“do not spend the last minutes of the day washing pornography, violence,
cultism, quarrels, careless talks or such other evils. If you love God in
truth, you will find this easy to do. But if you do not love God enough, this
advice will annoy or burden you.”)
Parable Of The Precious Pearls
You grow in spirit and in
truth by reading spiritual books for knowledge and wisdom, and by doing
spiritual practice. People do not read about God and life. They readily give
uncountable reasons why such books should not be read. The result is that they
continue to live in ignorance, indolence and inability. To seek, find and know
the truth is like the parable of precious pearls. The seeker must seek in
diverse places, encounter many different experiences and then choose the right
ones. But people do not seek. They prefer to remain ordinary members, not
knowing for sure whether what they believe and practice is right or wrong.
Parable Of The Ocean
(Warning: Do not jump into
the ocean.)
The kingdom of heaven is
like a person running for his dear life. When he had no alternative, he jumped
into the ocean, only to discover that himself is the ocean.
Parable Of The Only Wise Man
A thousand men went on a travel in search of precious pearls. When they got to
a far away city, they decided to settle down and live in the city. While they
were residents in the city, they acquired various kinds of wealth: gold,
silver, diamond, etc. They built houses and lived a life of affluence.
Among the one thousand men was
one wise man. He reasoned that the city was not his home. Therefore, each time
he acquired a precious wealth, he sold it and sent the money home, to his bank
account. After many years, he became a very rich man, and yet unknown in his
city of residence. One day, there was a dispute in the city, and the dispute
led to a war. It happened that all foreigners should leave the city. All
strangers were not allowed to take even a little of their great wealth.
When the thousand men returned
to their home city, they became men of great poverty, living a wretched life.
Only that wise man became abundantly rich and renowned.
Interpretation: This
parable explains the future of every person, who does not use earthly wealth to
accumulate heavenly wealth. A wise man will use the little light he has to gain
more light. There is no wisdom better than this.
You accumulate heavenly treasures when you engage in:
1.
Acts of Selflessness.
2.
Charity.
3.
Mercy.
4.
Growing in spirit and in truth.
5.
Support divine ministry, even if you are not a
reverend minister.
6.
Seeking and knowing the truth.
7.
When in abundance, you take what is enough for you,
and give the rest to others.
8.
Etc
Parable Of Contrast
What A Contrast!
Until you begin to live in
spirit and in truth,
you are like a wild dog wandering inside a terrible wasteland,
whereas the Golden City is on the Mountain Top
waiting for those who know the Truth.
This parable is an enough advice and warning to you.
Parable Of The Worlds Apart
“Why does the life of a
saint appear different?” some religious students asked a mystic. “And why does
his personality seem so serene and bright?”
“The world is like a long
winding river, full of dirt,” replied the mystic. “The worldly people move in
it and are stained by it. But, the saint walks on the water”.
“Is this a proverb, or a
statement of reality?” asked one of the students.
“It is first a statement of
reality,” replied the mystic, “and also a proverb. You will understand this
when you find God and know what you are”.
“We are human beings,”
answered all the students in unison.
“No,” replied the mystic.
“You are babies still in the womb of ignorance”.
Chapter 7
LIFE IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH
Parable Of The Sun And Shadows
Comparing Truth And The
Religions
The relationship between the truth and religions is like the Parable Of The
Sun, Tree An Shadows. The truth is like the shadows cast on the ground by
the trees when the sun is shining. The shadows are the religions and churches
of the world. The trees are the religious leaders, while the sun is the truth.
The religions and churches are meant to lead people to the truth, but instead
of doing that the religious leaders are busy teaching man-made doctrines.
Therefore, the religions and their teachings are like shadows because they
teach the figments of imaginations, the fabrications of falsehood and the deceptions
of the enemy. Jesus said that since the time of John the Baptist, they violent
take the kingdom of Heaven by force. Likewise, since the time of Adam, ignorant
teachers and impostors mislead multitudes into the hell fire. That is why I
tell you that while religions and churches are good, you must by-pass them to
seek and find the truth. Only those who know and practice the truth are free
indeed.
Parable Of The Golden Gates
The parable teaches people the things they must do before they can see God face
to face. The gates are simply virtues, which everyone has to cultivate and
practice everyday, if he wants to see God face to face. For years churches have
neglected these gates, and have fed the masses with fabrications of
imaginations, even such as never entered into the heart of God. The gates are
the following:
1.
Selflessness (Unselfish Love)
2.
Self-knowledge (Realization Of The Truth)
3.
Forgiveness (...)
4.
Purity (Life As It Is)
5.
Submission (Humility And Simplicity)
6.
Detachment (The Key To Freedom)
7.
Meditation (Experience Bliss)
Chapter 8
LIFE ON EARTH
Parable Of Endless Journey
I saw my brother return from a journey he embarked upon from eternity. On his way
back, he became disabled. He was trapped inside a spirit glass from which he
could not free himself. He was not dead. He was alive and yet not able to move
himself. He was trapped in an endless condition. A woman stood by my side, and
said, "He is trapped, endlessly." I looked at him, and saw that he
was indeed trapped there, endlessly. Though he had almost reached home, he
could not free himself and enter into the house. He was there, looking at us.
He was neither complaining nor dead. He was there motionless.
By the Spirit (God in me), I
took hold of the glass, rotated it counter-clockwise, set him free from the
condition, gave him a kiss and brought him into our midst. Now, I remember what
the Lord once said in my hearing, "Do everything possible to recover
whoever among you that is missing or in trouble."
Comment: The woman is
the church. My brother simply shows the condition of many children of God at
the end time. None is able to save himself. Only God can save all. The endless
journey simply means the evolution of every spark of light from God into
God-realised soul.
I thank You, Father, for always being there for us.
Let All the Heavens shout
Halleluyah!!!!!!!
No wonder Jesus said that
Angels rejoice exceedingly for one soul that repents.
Chapter 9
DIVINE LOVE
The Parable Of Evening Play
I went to a village square to buy things from a shop. At the village square, I
saw children at play. Some were running about, while others were rolling
themselves on the ground, each as he liked. Yet, others formed play groups,
doing one thing or the other. Anything that made them happy was what they did.
I saw those that were putting there feet in a small pool of flood, and as well
those that were inside the bush looking for insects to catch or fruits to eat.
Anyway, I went straight to the shop and bought what I needed and left, passing
to and fro in the midst of the children.
On my way home, I visited a friend at his home. We spent time discussing and
drinking. When it was time for me to go, I stood up to go. I was about drinking
the remains of my drink when the man’s gate suddenly flung open. Children were
happily and playfully rushing in. They were returning from evening plays. In
fact, they were dirty and rough in their dressing. In bewilderment, I forgot
the cup I held to my mouth. I wondered what their parents would do or say to
them.
“Ngozi,” called the mother of
the children as they playfully rushed to the veranda. Ngozi hurried out,
expecting to receive one instruction or another.
“Quick,” said the woman. “Put water in a basin and bath the children.”
“Yes, Ma,” Ngozi replied and left. All the children followed Nogzi to one side
of the compound. I pretended to delay my departure in order to see what would
follow.
Soon, Ngozi was busy bathing the children, one after another. Another servant
was ready cleaning those already washed, while third servant rubbed pomade on
them and combed their hairs. A fourth servant was putting fine dresses on them.
I continued to sip the little drink, while I watched the whole event. A fifth
servant came from behind, with several dishes in a tray, which she carried into
the parlour. The sixth servant collected all the dirty dresses and went behind
the beautiful house.
“Wonderful,” I said in my
heart. “Great is the love of the parents for their children.” And a voice said,
“If the earthly and sinful parents so much love their dirty children, how much
more is the love of the Heavenly Father for His children, who are not only
bright and glorious, but also wise and wonderful. Let the sinner return home
before nightfall.”
Parable Of The Greatest Love
§ There is no love greater
than this, that the Father has made the son exactly like Himself.
§ There is no love greater
than this, that a man would lay down his life to save his friends.
§ There is no love greater
than this, that I want you to be where I am.
§ There is no love greater than
this, that the Father and Son are one.
§ There is no love greater
than this, that the Father is in the Son and the Son is in the Father.
§ There is no love greater
than this, that the Son is the Father's Love.
What a wonderful love!
Chapter 10
GRACE OF GOD
Parable Of The Unfortunate Ants
Johnson was a boy of about 15 years of age. He had just returned from evening
visit to a friend. He sat down in a chair to rest. After a while, it occurred
to his mind to check his provisions, because he would be returning to school
boarding house the following day.
He opened a carton and looked inside. He was surprised to see ants on a packet
of sugar, which his father bought for him. He lifted the packet, opened it and
looked inside. What he saw was alarming – ants swarming inside the packet.
He rushed outside, smacked the ants off his pocket onto the ground. Next, he
marched all over the tiny living things with his two feet. The numerous ants
died there and then.
For licking sugar, the numerous ants were mercilessly killed. Consider
humanity, who eat fruits and vegetables, drink water and wines, and eat honey
and milk. And yet, God has not killed us.
Consider humanity, who tap all
the natural resources inside the ground; from crude oil to natural gas, from
solid minerals to gold and diamonds; from cement to assorted types of rocks.
And yet, God has not complained or killed us.
Compare and consider. For committing one offence, the ants were mercilessly
smashed to death. What of humanity who commit uncountable sins, and yet God has
not kill us?
His love abides forever,
and His mercies forever more.
23 Thus says the LORD:
"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me ,
That I am the LORD, exercising loving-kindness,
judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight," says the LORD.
Jeremiah 9:23-24
5 Now the LORD descended in
the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And
the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God,
merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, 7
keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by
no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the
children and the children's children to the third and the fourth
generation." Exodus 34:5-7
9 For if you return to the
LORD, your brethren and your children will be treated with compassion by those
who lead them captive, so that they may come back to this land; for the LORD
your God is gracious and merciful , and will not turn His face from you if you
return to Him." 2 Chronicles 30:9
Chapter 11
SPIRITUAL SCIENCE
Parable Of Negligence
Currently, man has developed
all things, and has neglected to develop himself. That is humanity undergo training
in computer science, biological science, chemical science, physical science,
engineering science and agricultural science, but have neglected spiritual
science.
They have left this very
important field of life to the evil spirits, demons, mermaids, ghosts and black
forces. That is why it seems as if everything about spirit is evil or has to be
abhorred and avoided.
It is like the parable of the
children who would take the unimportant things, and through the important ones
into the refuse dump.
The situation is worsened by
the religious leaders, who do not know that they spiritually blind (ignorant).
They prefer misleading the teeming multitudes to an earnest search for the
truth. Truly, religion has become a shadow, instead of being the substance.
Jesus said it clearly,
22 "The lamp of the body is the eye. If
therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if
your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the
light that is in you is darkness, how great (terrible) is that darkness! Matthew 6:22-23
Parable Of An
Empty Bag
The kingdom of heaven is
like a child who went to market and bought an empty bag. And when he got home,
he found the bag full of all kinds of good thing in abundance.
Chapter 12
RELIGIOUS LEADERS
Parable Of The Ignorant Teachers II
A school was famous for its excellence. Therefore, a Council of Elders sent a
wise man to investigate the greatness of the school.
When the wise man got to the school, he acted a blind man, using his walking
stick as a guide. He was led to the school head, and taken round the classes
for free will contributions.
When he returned, the elders wanted to know his findings.
“What is the school like?” asked the
leader of the elders.
“Behold,” said the wise man,
“I met ignorant teachers feeding ignorant children with lies.”
“The school head,” asked
another elder, “what is he doing about it?”
“His own is worst,” replied
the wise man. “For while the ignorant teachers teach what they do not know, he
is busy encouraging them, instead of correcting them.”
“We will not believe you,”
remarked a third elder, “unless you show us a convincing proof.”
“Very
easy,” answered the wise man. “For while I saw the nakedness of the school,
they believed I was blind.” Then he poured out the currency notes and coins
that were given to him.
“We shall not accept these
gifts,” remarked one of them, “because they were given out of falsehood and
obtained by falsehood.”
“Correct!” exclaimed the
wise man. “You asked me for one evidence, and now he has provided more two.”
“You mean to say that the teachers know little or nothing?” asked
the leader.
“I can understand,” answered
one of the elders,” that they know little or nothing.”
“Not only too little,”
continued the wise man. “Also, they mix the little with their general ignorance
to produce …”
“Confusion …!” answered all
elders in unison.
“Then what shall we do?”
asked the leader. “To kill them all?”
“No! Never!” said the wise
man. “Leave them alone. They are babies still in the womb of ignorance. Only
the penetrating light of knowledge can awaken and empower them to crack their
self-constructed prison of ignorance.”
“Bring the gifts to the
altar,” ordered an unseen voice. “And pray over it, for love, mercy and
generosity of the Most High.”
Quickly, the elders took the
currency notes and coins to the altar table in their midst. And in silence,
they all rose and stood round the table. Then they stretched their hands over
the gifts, in silent prayers and benedictions.
From the midst of the gifts
pure white smoke ascended to the throne of God. And a candlelight came down and
stood on the gifts, and there was light everywhere, as well as flashes of
lightening and rumblings of thunder.
Parable Of Lazy Soldiers
You neglect spiritual
matters. You have become like the parable of the foolish and lazy soldiers,
who went to battle. On their way, they made comfortable spaces and started to
sleep and slumber. And their enemies came to them, took them one by one, and
put them in evil prisons. Yet, the soldiers did not know that they are inside
the enemies' prison.
Parable Of The Worlds Apart
“Why does the life of a saint appear different?”
some religious students asked a mystic. “And why does his personality seem so
serene and bright?”
“The world is like a long winding river,
full of dirt,” replied the mystic. “The worldly people move in it and are
stained by it. But, the saint walks on the water”.
“Is this a proverb, or a statement of
reality?” asked one of the students.
“It is first a statement of reality,”
replied the mystic, “and also a proverb. You will understand this when you find
God and know what you are”.
“We are human beings,”
answered all the students in unison.
“No,” replied the mystic.
“You are babies still in the womb of ignorance”.
What Is An Ignorant Teacher Like?
He is like a mad man
teaching children Mathematics,
while the children are busy
joking at him.
Parable Of The Useless Teacher
Stop The Rosary
The rosary is the Satan's
way of misleading people from the powerful and glorious psalms that bear the
qualities of God and impart the same qualities to humanity. And for many years
and centuries, people were reciting the rosary, until new generation churches
started. Study the great and powerful ministers of God, they do not use the
rosary, because they know that the rosary is the fabrication of Satan and his
deception.
Besides, how can you keep
people praying, everyday, for forgiveness of sin, when there are seven
spiritual levels for them to ascend before they can see or experience God? By
this you bear witness against yourselves that you are not doing the right thing.
It is like the parable of the useless teacher who keeps on, everyday, saying to
his pupils, "You are ignorant! You are ignorant! You are ignorant!"
Everyday, he says the same to the pupils without teaching them anything useful.
By the rosary, you even embarrass Jesus, who says, "I have paid all the
price necessary. Why keep on pleading for sins already forgiven and forgotten?
Only do not sin again. My blood is your everlasting victory. It was shed once
and for all."
Parable Of The Misguided Travelers
A man was traveling to a Golden City on a Mountain Top. He did not know the
way. Unfortunately, he met an ignorant hypocrite, who pretended to know the
way. He asked of the way. The hypocrite gladly gave him a direction, “When you
get to that place,” said the imposter, “take the other way. Then, stop
somewhere….. Turn right … then left… and move straight.”
The traveler followed the direction and found himself inside a dark forest.
When he could not wander any longer, he bent down in silent prayer. It was then
that lightening flashed, and he found his way and got to his destination.
Others who were not wise enough remained in the wilderness wandering about.
Interpretation: many of
the ministers of God are proud of their exalted positions. They feel like a
king, because of the spiritual talents which God has given them. But alas! -
God has found them, but they have not found God.
They do not know the Truth. That is why they do not encourage their members to
seek and know the Truth. Therefore, their members do not grow in Spirit and in
Truth. Only very few who are earnest enough find their way to the city.
Why not find your way to God. Your eternal life (salvation or doom) is too
costly to be entrusted into the hands of ignorant leaders. Indeed, many are
ready and willing to enter the kingdom, but are still backing the gate out of
ignorance. The ministers they trust do not even know the way or how to enter.
Parable Of The Lazy Labourers
The kingdom of heaven is like lazy labourers who went were sent to farm. They
were expected to acquire and develop more lands. When they got to the farm,
each made a comfortable space. Next, he went round the fruitful trees and
collected juicy fruits. Then, they settled down, each in his own comfortable
space, eating and enjoying themselves.
Interpretation: Such is the state of many churches. Many are ignorant of
the Truth and are complacent, without knowing it. What many call their own
churches are man-made comfort zones, preventing them from seeking and finding
the Truth.
Parable Of Misleading Servants
The kingdom of heaven is like a master who assigned duties to his servants. But
the servants conspired against their master. They appointed one of themselves a
chief. When a person came to them saying, “I want to see your master.” They
told the person, “There is no such a master here. Come and see the only chief
we have.” And so, they lead the person away from their master, to the boys’
quarters.
Parable Of The Wicked Novices
Have you heard of the parable of the wicked novices? At school, they refused to
learn from their teachers. And after many years, they conspired, killed all the
teachers, took over the school and made themselves teachers. And so they kept
themselves busy, misleading multitudes into the hell fire. Be warned!Do Not Be Like The Wicked Novices
Parable Of The Lazy Teacher
Have you heard of the parable of the lazy teacher? Below is what transpired
between him and his students.
Teacher:(On entering the class) Do you know what we have today?
Students: Yes! (Out of enthusiasm.)
Teacher: Since you already know, there is no need teaching you. (And
he left the class.)
(On another day)
Teacher: Do you know what we have today?
Students: (Some answered) 'Yes', (while others answered)
'No'.
Teacher: Let those who know teach those who do not know. (And he
left.)
(In the following week)
Teacher: Do you know what we have today?
Students: (kept silent.)
Teacher: Since you are not ready to learn, there is no need wasting my
time. (Then he left.)
(After many days, he came to the class. The students wanted to help
themselves.)
Students: Give us the books to study on our own.
Teacher: The books are so big that you cannot carry them.
Students: Let us come to your house to read the books.
Teacher: My house is so far away that you cannot transverse the
distance. Besides, so many masquerades are lurking on the way.
Students: Then bring it to the school for us to read.
Teacher: If you read it, you will not be able to understand it.
Students: We have to find another teacher.
Teacher: No. I am the only teacher in existence. What is more? You must
not become my equal.
(What was most disappointing about the whole issue was that the teacher's reasons
were accepted by the ignorant society.)
Parable Of The Hypocrite Guide
You claim to be a guide
But
You do not know
The things you should know.
And
You do not do the things
You should do.
You shy away from
Saying the Truth.
You prefer man-made doctrines
To the commandments of God.
Are you therefore not a hypocrite?
Before,
You claimed to be a guide.
Now,
I have discovered
That you do not know
The route or destination.
Even,
You do not know yourself
Or the light we seek.
Chapter 13
WARNING AGAINST DECEPTION
Parable Of The Foolish Travelers I
Worship God Alone.
About Virgin Mary and
Saints, I must warn you as follows, “There is no Angel or Saint who wants you
to pray to him/her. Every Angel or Saint wants you to know and worship God
only.”
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly
high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9
And he said to Him, "All these things I will give You if You will fall
down and worship me." 10 Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you,
Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.'
" Matthew 4:8-10
If you must ascend to the
mountain top to enter the golden city, you must drop certain practices which
constitute hindrances to you. All the claims about Angels and saints are like
the parable of the travelers who were going to a destination. On their way,
they saw a signpost. Then they settled round the post to worship it, instead of
continuing to their destination. The fact that you have done it for so many
years is never an excuse.
To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak
according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20
There is no where the Word has said that people should worship one another.
Parable Of The Foolish Travelers II
Today, most of the churches and their members are like the parable of the
foolish travelers. On their way, they deceived themselves, by each hugging a
tree and saying, “This is my home,” instead of continuing on their way to the
destination. For the religions and churches were intended to lead people to the
Truth. Instead of doing just that, the religions mislead people with figments
of imagination, the fabrications of falsehood and the deceptions of the enemy.
That is why many are stagnant and complacent, without knowing it.
Many hug nothing.
Chapter 14
HYPOCRISY
Parable Of Falsehood
The kingdom of God is like a prophet who found people crying. He asked them,
“Why are you crying?”
“No,”
they replied. “We are not crying; we are only laughing”.
So, the prophet said, “Then,
tell me why you are laughing”.
And they said, “We have just
finished laughing. Now, we are crying”.
Parable of Silver and Gold
This world surprises me. When you give
them silver, they say, “We want gold”.
Then you bring gold, and
they say, “We have enough silver”.
A wise man wanted to outwit
them by bringing them both silver and gold, and they say, “A grain of sand is
greater than the vast sky.”
Parable Of The Foolish Servants
Most of the men live like the
parable of the lazy and foolish servants, whom their master entrusted his
house into their hands, with instructions on what and how to do things. But
when the master left, the servants climbed unto their master's throne and sat
down there idle, even playing and whiling away precious time. One day, the
master will return when they do not expect him back, and they shall fall
headlong to the ground.
Why are the men living in
the world like Landlords, whereas they are not fit to be tenants? You are busy
living as you like. You have little or no time for things of God. idolatry,
Foolish couple,
Parable Of The Foolish Couple
Beware Of The Songs And
Music You Cherish.
You should know the spirit
behind the songs and music you hear, play or dance. You submit your soul to the
spirit behind the songs and music you cherish. Be warned! Many marriages
have been ruined because, on the wedding day, the couple danced a song or music
originated by evil spirit. By so doing, they gave glory to the evil spirit and
made it the foundation of their marriage, without knowing the consequences of
what they do. They failed to use the only one glorious moment of the life to
glorify God and make Him their sure foundation. Many behave like the parable of
the foolish couple who went to the altar to pledge unity before the Most High,
and then went in praise of evil spirits by dancing demonic music before the
general public. Many say it does not matter. Yet, a tiny switch, faulty, makes
the mighty plane in flight come down in a crash. Jesus said it clearly that a
little leaven enleavens the whole lump. The strongest chain is as weak as a
crack in the whole linkage.
Chapter 15
FAITH
Parable Of The Will Power
Consider a situation in which many people were asked to travel to a far away
city on a mountain top. Some walked, while others ran. Also, many moved in different
kinds of automobiles: some rode on motorcycles, some drove in cars, while
others boarded ship or plane. Even, some disappeared from the source country
and immediately appeared inside the city on the mountain top.
An observer turned to their
Guardian and said, “You are not fair to these people, for you have empowered
some better than others.”
The Guardian replied, “You are ignorant of the Truth. Each was given the same
will-power, free will and free choice. Whatever the best did, the others can as
well do. You should rather praise God, who is so patient as to wait for the
last man.”
Parable Of Belief
Your Belief Is Your Key.
What Is Belief Like? It is like a key. A key is a symbol of authority. The
person who has the key determines when to open or close the door. When the door
is open, many things pass through the door, and when the door is closed and
locked, nothing goes in or out. Such is the power of the key. It is small, but
mighty.
Likewise, your belief is a key: it either opens the door for you or locks you
out. Belief makes your eyes to see, while unbelief closes your eyes and
thereby, makes your spirit blind. On several occasion, Jesus emphasized the
importance of belief. He often would say, “According to your faith be it done
to you.”
Chapter 16
FORGIVENESS
Parable Of The Troublesome Fellow
Forgive And Forget.
Consider the parable of the
troublesome fellow, who everyday has one case or the other to settle. He is
never free and concentrated in his career, because he is busy fighting against
one person or another. At the end of the year, he has nothing to show for it,
while others delight themselves with their overflowing harvests. Stop
complaining; stop bearing grudges; and stop murmuring. Forgiveness sets you
free and makes you spiritually mature.
Parable Of The Wise Traders
For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
your Heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 6:14, 15
Some traders went to a merchant to buy costly goods. The merchant has the goods
in abundance. When they got to the merchant, the man ordered his workers not to
supply goods to any buyer who owed any debt. It happened that all the traders
were indebted to one another, in one way or the other.
Among the traders was a wise
one. He reasoned that somebody owed him some money. The amount was
insignificant compared to the value of the goods. So, he went to his debtor and
said, “I want to help you so that you will help me afterwards. That money I
gave you is no longer a debt; it is a gift. Now, go and get your own supply of
the goods. When you have received it, remember to help me pay my own debt, so
that I can get my own supply”. At this statement, the other trader rejoiced
exceedingly. He went to the workers, got clearance and goods.
Having received the goods, he paid the other man’s debt there and then. The
wise one also got his own clearance and goods. When the other traders saw what
the two traders did, they consulted among themselves, and each forgave whoever
was his debtor. Thereafter, they rejoiced exceedingly because each of them got
his supply of the previous goods in abundance.
Interpretation: The traders refer to the peoples of the world. Their
debts refer to their sins; the merchant is the Messiah; and the workers are the
Angels. Debts cancellations by the traders mean human beings forgiving one
another. The abundant goods they received mean eternal life and blessings. All
the traders were considered wise because, they took a decision that saved them.
Chapter 17
HOLINESS
Parable Of Two Cleaners
Consider the parable of two cleaners: one cleaner uses water to wash out
dirt, and thereafter wash his body and clothes. The other does not use water or
broom. Therefore, the dirt stains his body and clothes, and remains with him.
Some would argue that God sent Michael to recover the dead body of Moses.
"Yet Michael the
archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses,
durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke
thee." Jude 1:9
The fact is that the way
Angels move things is not the way human beings move things. Human beings move
things by touching and carrying them. But, Angels move things by commanding
them to move or do what the Angels want. Michael did not touch the corpse if at
all he moved it. Corpse is so negatively powerful that it defiles even a holy
place.
"Whosoever toucheth the
dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the
tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the
water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his
uncleanness is yet upon him." Numbers 19:13
"But the man that shall
be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among
the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water
of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean." Numbers 19:20
Evaluate: if a person defiles a holy
place because he touched a dead body, then the dead body itself defiles far
more!
"And whatsoever the
unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall
be unclean until even." Numbers 19:22
"And whosoever toucheth
one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of
a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days." Numbers 19:16
Chapter 18
IGNORANCE
Parable Of The Foolish Soldiers
Turn To Spirit.
Everything you do or say are
based on the physical aspect of life. That is why you have become a stumbling
block for many in the race for salvation. Consider again what Jesus said,
"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing (the flesh is
no avail). The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."
John 6:63
You must turn to spirit and
prophecy. Otherwise, you become like the parable of the foolish soldiers.
Everyday, they go about searching for their enemy, without knowing that they
are already inside the belly of their enemy.
Parable Of The Foolish Travelers
What You Are Like In The Presence Of God
You are like the parable of the traveler, who crossed so much distance to reach
his destination, but would not enter his abode. Just open the door and walk in,
and behold the everlasting Glory, who is also your Father.
Parable Of The Ignorant Travelers
Seek And Know The Truth, And Find God
Over the years, the teeming congregations have been taught so many religious
pieties, which they devotedly practice out of ignorance. Both the religious
leaders and followers have persistently neglected the ancient paths of life,
which paths are tested, proven and unchanging: the path of selflessness, the
path of self-knowledge, the path of devotion, the path of meditation, the path
of study, the path of moderation and the path of praises. Today, many keep
themselves busy praying rounds of the rosary, engaging in series of penance,
following routines of sacrifice, submitting to years of trainings in the
seminaries and convents, observing devotion to images and practicing ‘the
hypocrisy called worship.’ How come the religious leaders have turned
themselves into imposters and hypocrites, teaching what they have not
experienced?
To find God, you must turn
inwards, in quietness, in silence and in meditation. Turn your attention away from
everything that surrounds you. Turn inwards, towards your inner life. Keep your
mind away from the cares and worries of everyday routine. Relax yourself. Keep
quiet for a while. This is the first demand of being born again. At the
beginning, it may seem impossible. The mind would seem to be restless, making
you think of this and that, even when you do not want to think about them. Do
not worry. Just continue to do the practice, at least 30 minutes a day.
Spiritual growth takes place at a slow and steady pace, as if nothing is being
done. Yet, much is being achieved.
The one major task in the life of everyone is to discover the Primordial,
Absolute First Principle, called God. He is not just sitting down in the heaven
looking for someone to frighten or punish. He is everywhere waiting for His
children to find Him. All the while, the potentials of computer have been in
nature waiting for people to recognize the need and how to make and operate
computer. It was not humanity that developed computer. It has been in existence
all the time. Man only realized the need and how to make it functional. So it
is with finding God.
The reason why people do not find Him is because of spiritual blindness
(ignorance) and indolence (laziness). Many are busy talking about their
religion as being the best and final, whereas the religions suppose to lead
people to the Truth. They demonstrate the parable of ignorant travelers, who
were on a journey to a destination. On the way, they found a signpost to the destination,
and then settled down round the signpost, saying, “We have reached the
destination.” To overlook the ancient paths is like refusing to go home, for
there is no alternative way.
What compound the problem are the religious leaders, most of whom are ignorant
of spiritual realities of life. They are Masters at Morality, but Novices at
Spirituality, even without knowing that life in spirit is a different ball
game. Jesus said that since the time of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven
suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Likewise, since the time of
Adam, the kingdom of heaven suffers negligence and the spiritually blind
leaders mislead the ignorant multitudes. Even so, today! That is why nations
quarrel among themselves, in defense of their respective religions, when
indeed, they do not even know the God they worship.
When you are ready for the Truth that is Life, you must abandon the notion of
religions, churches, cultures, nationalities and discriminations, for these
things are hindrances on the way to the Truth. You must adopt a humble, simple
and natural approach to life. That means that you must become open-minded and
honest in everyday routine. Until you do so, your claims of being righteous or
religious is nothing but hypocrisy, for no one can give what he has not and
nobody can teach what he does not know. What a person has not experienced, that
he does not know.
Have you ever heard of a religious founder who did not first seek God in
quietness before he found Him? Moses was often alone in the wilderness with
cattle. Daniel was frequently alone in prayer. Jesus was often in the
wilderness to commune with God. Buddha spent many hours in silent meditation
before he became spiritually enlightened. Zoroaster stayed about thirty years
in meditation before he gained knowledge of God. John the Baptist lived alone
in quietness in the wilderness to know and serve God. Krishna of the Hinduism
was a master of meditation, in silence and solitude. Mohammed received the
Quran, which was handed down to him, alone. So, how can peoples of the world
boast about their religions and claim to know and worship God, when each does
not observe quiet times? Verily, I say to you that many are hypocrites.
This does not mean that everybody should become a hermit. No. that is not
necessary. God wants you to experience Him in your house, at the office, on the
road, inside yourself and outside everywhere, just as you experience the
goodness and brightness of the sunlight everywhere you find yourself. This is
the simple Truth. That is why Newton did not learn about the gravitation from a
university, and he did not need anybody to teach him about the seven colours of
the rainbow. Similarly, Galileo did not spend his days in humiliation to know
that the sun is outside the earth.
Chapter 19
RIGHTEOUSNESS
Parable Of The Ten Condolence Visitors
Ten persons went on condolence visit. On their return, an Angel was by the road
side, interviewing them, without their physically knowing it.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
1st Visitor: I repaid visit because he visits me.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you went there to repay visit, there
is no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
2nd Visitor: I paid visit so that he will visit me in future.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you went there to be repaid in
future, there is no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
3rd Visitor: I went there to be seen.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you went there to be seen, there is
no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
4th Visitor: I went there so that people would call me prestigious
names.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you went there to be praised, there
is no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
5th Visitor: I did not eat because he does not eat at other people’s
funeral.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you went there to revenge, there is
no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
6th Visitor: I did not go for condolence because I do not know the
bereaved. I only went in to call a friend.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you go on condolence only for those
you know, there is no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
7th Visitor: He is not from our church.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you discriminate against members of
other churches, there is no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
8th Visitor: I went there because others were going.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you do so because others were doing
so, you do not know what you are doing. There is no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
9th Visitor: I went on site seeing.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you went there for personal interest,
there is no reward for you.
Angel: What did you do at the condolence?
10th Visitor: God said we should mourn with those who are mourning.
Remarks from the Angel: As long as you went there in honour of God,
blessed are you indeed. You reward awaits you.
Finally, the Angel closed his
records and ascended into heaven. And so it happened that out of ten condolence
visitors, only one person received reward form God. Condolence was used for the
parable because it is one of the commonest things people do nowadays.
Chapter 20
SALVATION
Parable Of The Charcoal And Fire
First, consider a charcoal inside a fire.
The charcoal is red hot. Therefore, it is fire.
Also, it is inside the fire and the fire is inside it.
The two are one. (The glorious state before the fall.)
Next, the charcoal is removed from the fire.
Gradually, it loses its heat energy and brightness.
Eventually, it loses all the heat energy,
and becomes black (Poor in spirit) .
Now, the house owner comes again
to rekindle the fire in the charcoal.
He places it back inside the fire. And the charcoal becomes
red hot again. This time, forever. (Salvation)
This parable illustrates Blessed are
the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Parable Of The Lost Brothers
For this is my blood of the
new testament,
which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Matthew 26:28
In a certain city, there was a
very rich and wealthy man. He had seven sons. One day, six of the children
traveled to a far away place. But the first son stayed with the father.
When it was due for the six sons to return home, they did not. They had missed
their way while coming back. The father patiently waited for them. After many
days, he had to use mystic powers to locate the children, who by now were
becoming faint, sick and badly dressed.
Having located the children, the father had to send the first son to bring them
home. He equipped the first son against all odds and even gave him mystic
powers.
The first son succeeded in finding his brothers. Before the six sons would
follow the first son, there was dispute between them and the first son. The
dispute was because of changes which had taken place in the memories of the
lost brothers. After several disputes and arguments, they decided to follow the
first son, who successfully led them home to their father. The father was overwhelmed
with joy. He ordered his servants to wash the six sons, put costly garments on
them, rubbed them with best perfume and there was a great celebration in the
man’s house.
Interpretation:
This parable is intended to be an answer to the song which says,
I don’t know why
Jesus loves me.
I don’t know why.
The rich and wealthy man refers to God Almighty. The six sons represent
mankind, while the first son is Jesus Christ. The house is the Heavens, and the
far away city is the earth. Being lost means sinfulness, mystic powers refers
to omnipotence of God. The disputes and arguments refer to what transpired
between the Israelites and Jesus. The rescue by the first son was inevitable
because of two reasons. One, God is love; two, He has boundless love for his
children.
Chapter 21
SEEING GOD FACE TO FACE
Parable Of The Hungry Child
Consider the parable of the hungry child. There was a child who was destitute.
Everyday, he walked the streets, chanting “Daddy, I am hungry. Have mercy on
me. Daddy, I am hungry. Have mercy on me.” People would pass him, turn and have
a second look at him. Some would pity him, others made fun of him, while
sympathetic ones cursed the father. Who would like to be such a father?
Parable Of The Lost Child
What Is The Whole Encounter
Like?
It is like a parable of a child who lost his way in the forest. After many
days, he became hungry and faint. When he saw a tree with ripe fruits on it, he
plucked down as many fruits as he could eat. Then, he settled down to eat.
Immediately he raised the first fruit to his mouth, he sighted his father. Out
of joy, he cast away the fruits in his hands and ran into the embrace of his
father.
Chapter 22
TOLERANCE
Parable Of Point And Details
Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the
gourd,
for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow;
which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city,
wherein are more then six score thousand persons
that cannot discern between their right hand
and their left hand; and also much cattle?
Jonah 4:10-11
A man had one son. But
because of domestic duties he had to bring in a house boy, who was the son of his
friend. The man loved two boys and treated them alike. He made sure that they
had good education. He would not allow anything to interfere with their
studies.
The other boy was equally
very sad.
Chapter 23
VICTORY
Parable Of The Dead Lion
The kingdom of heaven is like a lion that went to kill a man. By the time the
man saw the lion, it was already a dead animal.
Chapter 24
BROTHERHOOD OF MANKIND
On the need for Co-operation
Parable Of The Three Wise Queens
For I am the LORD, I change not;
therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Malachi 3:6
There was a very rich king in
a city. He was so rich and wealthy that people called him Mr. Prosperity. The
more people took from his possessions, the more abundant his wealth became. He
wanted to marry a wife from a group of three beautiful girls. The three girls
were friends.
After consulting among
themselves, the girls decided that they must not lose their friendship because
of marriage. So, they decided that the king shall marry three of them or none
at all.
The king being a responsible
man, organized the wise ones in his kingdom to test the girls. The girls were
unknowingly tested with several things, including money and wealth and
forgiveness. At the end of the test, the three girls proved themselves
reliable. Therefore, the king married them all. The three became queens,
instead of only one girl becoming a queen.
Interpretation: We live in a world where competition has been entrenched
in every aspect of life, whereas the Almighty God wants us to co-operate. The
problem of competition has even spread to evangelism, such that the churches
now compete for members. The same competition negatively influences the
ministers of God in their sermons, attitudes and relationships. The result has
been negative: unnecessary discords, mockeries and suspicions. Each of these
evils is a virtue unexpected of Christians, and contrary to the message of love
given by Christ, and unacceptable to the Holy Spirit.
The parable of the three wise
queens draws our attention to the need for ministers of God to co-operate,
instead of engaging in unnecessary competitions, condemnations and counter-accusations.
The rich man in the parable
represents the son of God, Jesus Christ. The three queens mean the Old
Testament Churches, and New Generation Churches and Future Generation Churches.
The test was a test of spiritual maturity. The girls are called the three wise
queens because they valued each other, placed their friendship above selfish
interests. They choose cooperation, instead of competition.
In the end, they all
benefited. Instead of one winner and one queen, they became three winners and
three queens. A study of world history shows that old churches have benefited
mankind in numerous ways. They brought the gospel to us, despite persecutions
and difficulties. Also, they built churches, colleges, universities, hospitals,
etc for the good of mankind. The new churches are equally important. They have
made the faith of modern Christians vibrant, strong, expressive and victorious.
Numerous benefits derived from them include: accurate prophecies (visions,
dreams, oracle etc). Other benefits are sweeping crusades, resounding
testimonies, divine anointing, gospel and music bands, deliverances and
healings, praises and choruses, saraka, clapping and dancing, wearing of white
clothes by widows (instead of black clothes), etc. All these benefits and more
are to such an extent unprecedented before.
The parable implies that:
1.
The old, new and future testaments churches should
co-operate instead of competing with one another.
2.
Every church should emulate others in ways that are
good and holy.
3.
They should encourage and enlighten one another,
instead of condemnations and accusations.
4.
Imagine what the Lord is doing! The mushroom
churches of the past, which started in parks and garages, have today become
great temples and cathedrals.
5.
We do not discriminate in the market places,
schools, hospitals, roads and buses. Why then should we discriminate in the
House of God?
6.
We very much desire the blessings of God. But, very
often, we overlook the most important blessing. In the beatitudes, special
blessings were specified for various categories of believers. It was the
peace-makers that were called the sons of God. We often strive for the lesser
blessings, to the neglect of the most important one.
7.
Various groups are consolidating their associations
and rights through unions. Hence, there is European Union, African Union,
United Nations, consortiums, conglomerates and re-capitalization. The same is
happening in various fields of human endeavour. It is only among the Christians
that we still have discriminations, condemnations and accusations.
8.
Even in the time of Jesus Christ, there were
diverse groups, sects and interests. But one thing was observable: Jesus was
busy doing good to everybody, irrespective of group, belief, nationality or
color.
9.
If the Christians fail to unite, they make
themselves vulnerable (easy prey) to persecutions and intrigues; they will not
be able to ward off intimidations and oppositions.
10.In the end, church or sect does not count in the
Heavens. What matters is obedience to the will of God.
11.There is beauty in diversity. Consider the flower.
It is beauty derived from diversity of colors. What of soup? Its pleasant taste
is only possible from a combination of various ingredients. The same is true of
different tunes which blend together in music. The various Christian groups
demonstrate the beauty and wisdom of God.
12.Prayers are efficacious when offered in love and
peace. But once discrimination, hatred and oppositions set in, prayers loose
their efficacy: The enemy rejoices because he succeeds in tearing children of
God apart.

END TIME
Parable Of The Returning Father
From time to time we hear of
the second coming of Jesus, or that the world will end soon and people are
afraid. What is your stand on the issue?
People should not fear
because of the second coming of Jesus. They should rather rejoice. After all,
Jesus has been very busy working in this world for the good of mankind. Since
His death and resurrection, He has been paying frequent visits to the world.
Consider this parable: A father travels to a far
away place and is absent from the house for a long time. When the time comes
for his return, you notice that every body is happy, rejoicing and expectant.
His arrival is usually one of a joyful and boisterous celebration. If we
rejoice so much at the return of a man who could be wicked, should we not
rejoice far more in the return of Almighty God, who is full of loving-kindness,
mercy and generousity? His second coming is a time of harvest. It is a time of
great victory, joyfulness and gladness.
The churches, the choirs,
should compose and sing joyful songs for the coming of Jesus, who already has
been paying frequent visits to the world.
The only warning necessary
is that the sinner should repent. As to time and hour of His coming, no body
knows. Already His soldiers - the Angels - are swarming about us, an evidence
of His coming; just like the Police, Soldiers, and Security Men indicate the
coming of a President.
Jesus is coming for a holy
people. The sinner should repent or live to regret. Save yourself before it is
too late. Take all end time warnings and messages as true!
Chapter 26
EVIL
Parable Of Devastating Erosion
A group of inquisitive students asked a wise man, “What is an evil like?” The
man did not speak. Instead, he led them to a site. On the way, the wise used
his leg to cover every rill (tiny erosion) on the road. The students looked on in surprise. ![]()
“Why do you bother yourself filling every scratch on the road?” asked the
students, but the wise man would answer them.
Suddenly, he stopped and said, “The least evil is like a tiny erosion, which if
unchecked, becomes a gully erosion, and then an enormous erosion. The least
evil can become a devouring ruin.” Then, he pointed in the direction of a
gigantic erosion. ![]()
“Wa..a..a..aaaah!!!” shouted the students as they saw an immense erosion site.
